Too often, employee benefits guides are poorly designed and written, so they don’t get used. A beautifully designed guide that’s easy to navigate and well written helps employees (and spouses) understand and appreciate your benefits offerings and assists them in making better-informed decisions. We offer dozens of design styles, along with “best practice” language, user-friendly layouts and several customization options that boost employee satisfaction and engagement.

Our designs and best-practice language are also available for companion educational pieces like flyers, snail-mail postcards, posters, slide presentations and “benefits-at-a-glance” brochures in the same style as your guide.

Required Materials

To get started, please provide:

  • Your chosen design style
  • PDF of last year’s guide (or original source files) and/or new benefits summaries
  • Photos (300 dpi) you want to include (Note: Standard and Custom only)
  • Your branding guidelines: logos (EPS, AI or 300-dpi PNG), fonts, colors, etc. (Note: Standard and Custom only)

Standard Guide

We customize your chosen design layout using our professionally written best-practice language. Just send us your existing guide and plan info, and we do all the work. And you can change the photos, if you provide them. Not allowed are page edits, reordering, additions or deletions requiring redesign of the layout.

Rounds of edits included: six – additional rounds: $150 each

Flipbook Conversion

We can convert new and existing benefits guides to Flipbook or digital format with content navigation for $250 each.

Alternate Versions

We can make minor changes to new guides to create additional versions for new hires or different employee groups for $1,000 each.

Final Delivery

We provide PDFs and print-ready artwork; printing is not included.

Review Process

A kick-off meeting is scheduled to set expectations and review the whole process with you.

With this option, we develop a new design and layout with your input to create a truly unique guide customized with your branding, colors, images and benefits details. We start by providing three cover and layout designs from which to choose. Then, we use our professionally written best-practice language, your existing guide’s language or a hybrid of the two to explain your benefits offerings.

Companion Pieces

We can create complementary materials in the same style as your benefits guide. It takes about a week to produce these pieces, except full presentations, which can take up to 2.5 weeks. Includes up to three rounds of edits.
